Meet Orest Krajnyk, MD

Orest Krajnyk, MD, is a highly skilled and board-certified Refractive Surgery Specialist, Ophthalmologist, and Cataract and LASIK Surgeon at Precision Eye Institute. 

From three office locations in Edgewater, New Smyrna Beach, and Daytona Beach, Florida, Dr. Krajnyk provides all his patients with personalized care and the best technology available. Beyond eye care vision and correction, Dr. Krajnyk offers a suite of services to help patients see, look, and feel their best.

Dr. Krajnyk received his medical degree from New Jersey Medical School (also known as Rutgers Medical School) in Piscataway. He fulfilled his General Surgery and Ophthalmology residencies at Brown University, Providence, Rhode Island.

In addition, Dr. Krajnyk completed his Physician CEO designation at the Northwestern Kellogg School of Management in Evanston, Illinois.

He is passionate about offering patients the care they deserve, customized to their specific lifestyles. Treating patients like family and maintaining a strong sense of community is of great importance. Dr. Krajnyk understands that gathering thorough patient history and establishing a relationship of trust with each patient will lead to a better overall experience.

Outside of work, Dr. Krajnyk loves spending time with his family and doing activities with his two young children and wife, such as camping and weekends at the theme parks and the beach. Dr. Krajnyk also loves entertaining family and friends at his home, where he is a master gardener growing delicious fruits and vegetables.
